British Arts Festivals Association Annual Conference
| On Your Marks, Get Set……Go to Buxton | |
We are sure it hasn’t escaped your notice that the Olympic Games are very topical at the moment and so BAFA is including some sessions in the forthcoming BAFA conference to look at the question of festivals and the Cultural Olympiad. BAFA is also looking at how arts organisations work with local authorities and Lorna Brown, Chair of the National Association of Local Government Arts Officers (NALGAO) from West Sussex County Council will look at how the Cultural Olympics is being tackled locally. While we’re on the subject of getting off the starting blocks, if you haven’t booked for the conference we suggest you book soon. BAFA is experiencing unprecedented demand for bookings and want to ensure that those who want to attend can be accommodated. To book for the conference go to www.artsfestivals.co.uk |
