Euclid is known as the UK Cultural Contact Point for the European Union and also known to many as a consultancy and training agency. What not everybody might appreciate is that Euclid is also the publisher of a large number of useful informative website related to culture in Europe.

1001 Actions for Dialogue

‘1001 Actions for Dialogue’ is a major international campaign which sets out to create a mass mobilization of people and actions across thirty seven countries, all focused on the aim to know the ‘other’.

* 89% perceive a greater need for ‘culture’ to be promoted at EU-level;

* 88% feel that cultural exchanges are important, and they call on the European Union to facilitate cultural exchanges for Europeans, and so promote intercultural dialogue; 

These are some of the findings of the Eurobarometer study on Europeans, culture and cultural values published by the European Commission.
