ANNUAL CONFERENCE
IFEA Europe's annual conference is our most important event, featuring keynote speakers, workshop sessions, roundtable discussions, and many other opportunities for networking and exchange, including a comprehensive social programme. 
Previous conferences have been held in cities such as Reykjavik; Athens; Belfast; Amsterdam; Bonn; Sheffield; Stockholm; Vienna, and Rotterdam.
The 2010 conference will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from September 8-10 2010, followed by the academic pre-conference "Journeys of Expression" at Copenhagen Business School on September 11-12. It will be the perfect time of the year to visit the magnificent Danish capital, famous for an exciting calendar of festivals and events such as Copenhagen Jazz festival; Golden Days in Copenhagen; the Copenhagen Carnival; Copenhagen Marathon; and the Cultural Harbour Festival; as well as the 2009 world showcase events: the Olympic Congress and Climate Conference.
The IFEA Europe 2010 annual conference takes place alongside the international My World IMAGES festival, and the program features joint sessions and special programmes for IFEA delegates and the festivals artists and organisers.

BEHIND THE SCENES:
In addition to our annual conference, IFEA Europe regularly presents member exclusive to interesting festivals across Europe whilst they are actually happening.
Our "Behind-the-Scenes" events are popular with IFEA members, offering valuable opportunities to explore firsthand the excitement of the public experience and discover the challenges directly from the staff of the host festival. "Behind-the-Scenes" events provide an excellent opportunity to share best practice and network with colleagues in a social, relaxed atmosphere.
Past hosts included Györ, Hungary; Travemünde, Germany, and Tarrega, Spain. Our most recent "Behind the Scenes" event was hosted by the Peace & Love festival in Borlänge, Sweden, and included a visit to Ludvika Festivalen as well as to the international Tällberg Forum.
